Christmas Esplosion!

On Wednesday I had my first kitchen fire. I suppose I use that term loosely I suppose.  I really just caught a napkin on fire (on a toaster oven heating element), but I burned my knuckle and melted a bit of my shoe trying to put it out before I just let it burn out on the floor. It was amusing and not terribly traumatic or problematic

You had molten Pyrex!? You must have some kind of super-kitchen! Pyrex is supposed to withstand temperatures over 900 degrees F.

Ok, probably not really molten, but hot enough to seriously melt some other stuff. But yes, we do have super-kitchen. :)
