Love these photos. It looks like that elephant's angry and wants you off, too XDDD

And yeah, I've never heard of Atomic Pink going orange;;;

I use SPLAT hair color in their super pink shade. It's vivid pink then fades slowly to a softer pink. You can find it online. It works way better for me than colors from Sally's beauty supply or HotTopic.

I had some pink stripes in my hair for about a month in 9th grade and they turned Orange on me too. Mine was a store bought at home kit. The bleach was mixed with the pink so maybe they didn't mix it right.
The length is still great on you so I'm glad you were able to get some enjoyment out of your hair.

Hey. :) I've been dying my hair eccentric colors since 8th grade (and naturals since 6th), professionally and at home. I've done every color of the rainbow, including a full head of rainbow (many, many, many times, it was a fav of mine). My earnest advice: unless you are a committed, devoted, time-giving adorer of your alternatively colored hair: don't go there, it goes "uck" surprisingly easily, primarily via fading (but also with agents like frizz). I dyed my hair about every 2 weeks to keep the colors sharp. It looks great, and all that, but it takes a lot of effort. I got up every morning at 5am on school days and washed my hair in (no jokes) cold sink water (fades significantly slower), then wore a shower cap whenever I wanted to bathe/shower in warm (yum) water. Alternative colors fade very quickly, and require massive amounts of maintenance. Also, because of damage I eventually found it necessary to blow dry/straighten/or curl my hair every time I went out into public, because otherwise it was a frizzy overprocessed mess. I got ( ... )

And that's why I always did my own hair color so I knew what was going into my hair. (That, and I was poor. Ok, so it was really cause I was poor).

Anyway, part of it looks like it may not have been bleached -quite- enough...fading pink + blonde = orange. ^^;

On the negative...your hair doesn't match your loli. :(
But, on the plus, you still look super-cute, even if it isn't "Atomic Pink"! ^^ And looks like you had a great time with Rachel! :D
