The arrival of a very pretty Giraffe!
Originally we were gonna do our Kuroshitsuji shoot, but stuff happened, and it turned out so much better, so yay! Here's what was up:
On Friday we more or less came home and watched some animuuuu movies and chilled. Fun tour of the yard, went to say hi to the horses, etc. We made cookies! I burnt the middle batch a bit, but they were still delicious. Faggotry happened and I spoiled her rotten. After dinner, it was a GORGEOUS night, so we went for a walk to the church facade where I had my Senior pictures taken, and had Rachel be my model. :'D Unfortunately the photos are on her camera, and a bit blurry.
Now, on Saturday, we got all tarted up and went to the mall, to Forever 21 and got some goodies for pretty Rachel, and I... clashed with everything, orz. Anyway, then we went to Bardstown Rd, and I took some good shots of her! We may now all commence hating her for her absolute mindblowing beauty.
I love this one because of her laugh. ;O;
Then, of course, we went to Lyn's Paradise Cafe!
By which, Rachel had a purple cow as her valiant steed.
Then she became a vegetable.
And she pushed over giant teapots.
And then she turned into a giant fork.
This doesn't seem to bother her.
Personally, I prefer spooning.
Or riding my orange elephant.
Um. Notice anything?
Here, let me help.
Two washes in, my "Atomic Pink" is turning ORANGE.
I've asked the pinkhair community for help, and they've told me the stylist screwed up on MULTIPLE counts. It's possible she didn't even use atomic pink at all.
In either case, it is CERTAINLY not turning the right color; I clash with all of my Lolita clothes and basically... my entire closet. And better judgement... Pink was a fun idea, but I'd need to bleach my hair BONE WHITE to get to the soft candyfloss pink that I want, and if I did that, it would probably MURDER my hair. And the process to get there would be too long and messy.
I don't regret trying it; It was a fun venture, but I'll be a brunette again in about a week and a half. :D
Otherwise, I am THRILLED with my short hair. It's so gorgeously healthy and full of shine. Curls hold and bounce an the volume is so nice. :D NEVER growing my hair to obscene lengths ever. Perhaps if I get my hair trimmed, I'll go a pinch shorter.
YAY, HAIR LIBERATION!
I'm looking forward to MATCHING things again. D: And being able to wear pink hair clips. orz. Oh, Odette! You'll wear pink for me, right? :'D
