you can have as many user pics as you like, upload photos, customise your layout a bit more and join the Google Ad-sense campaign and have your journal monetized.
I've seen links to mine pop up once or twice on Facebook. So I thought "fark this, if people are going to nose around in my business then I'll chuck ads all up in there too"
I'll let you know if it makes it's money back or not. ;)
Ah, I see. Probably not something I'm willing to invest in at the moment, but would be interested to see what kind of return you get. I've had the same deal with YouTube lately wanting me to sign on for adverts in my videos - I hate them, but if there's money to be made then I guess it wouldn't be all bad?
Well, I would write, but I honestly feel a bit drawn by the time I do all my usual online reading and posting my domestic shit just seems a drag. I'm also not entirely sure anyone wants to read about house reno's and kid's diseases. I'm lazy what what. And Facearse is quicker and easier to use.
But I read. And judge you all.
Not really. I read and adore you all. Because you are all wonderful and clever and I think this sickness has gone to my brain.
Seriously, I like reading what you guys are up too. It's probably something that everyone does, but other people's lives seem far more interesting then my own. Perhaps because I'm not living other people's lives. Plus, you are quite lovely Doug, and talented to boot. The world needs more good people like yourself. I've seen how you support and encourage people like Cy and Fi, and your enthusiasm for things like your photography is wonderful. You're inspiring, realise it or not. Would love ot read about your adventures some more. Camera, and housing with the girlthing and what your son has been up too (cause damn he must be getting big now!).
So that's what, you, Mel and me on LJ? Gawd, I better go post something then. Consider it my bi-annual report.

I'm still here, mainly because I pay for the bloody thing so I thought I should use it.
I'm glad that you are enjoying life in Auckland! :)

What are the advantages of having a paid LJ account?
