When Echizen walks out onto Court no.2, the grass is soft and slightly damp from the rainstorm earlier that day, which broke out too suddenly for the court to be covered up in time to avoid the water. The rain has stopped falling now, although from the looks of it, the reprieve might not last longer than an hour.

I've been really depressed lately 'cause of the latest chapter. I'm still in my own world where Tezuka is unbeatable (well maybe except Ryoma).
I guess that it's the raining here that it's making me sad...

But reading this fic again made me smile. Don't stop writing 'cause we need lots and lots of pillar love !!!

And I know, I keep getting so :( everytime Tezuka's injury starts giving trouble. YOU TOOK HIM AWAY FROM RYOMA FOR WHAT, I ASK. He should be completely healed and playing and awing everyone with his prowess XD But you know what, even if he never heals completely, Ryoma will be there. (For some reason, I have been humming the song Sexual Healing all day long which, I'm sure, is one of Fuji's favourites.)

Wow. This is very well done. I love how you've characterized Fuji and Ryoma's relationship, and how scary is it that Nanako's sweet on Fuji? I yearn for Tezuka to come back and take the title from Ryoma. Very nice story!

I love tezu-ryo-fuji friendship fics! And Fuji/Nanako!

A lot of shippy fic excludes all the other relationships, like nothing could ever be as important as THE ONE TRUE LOVE, and I love that you totally don't do that; Fuji and Atobe, and all their other friendships, and Ryoma calling his mum, and it's all important, they're all important to each other.

I feel all warm and happy now!

No man is an island, right? No matter how strongly I ship TezuRyo, I think they are not the only thing in PoT - there's all the other characters too, interacting and carrying on with their own lives, their own dilemmas and their own decisions that may or may not build plot but, ultimately, they all influence each other and form a net that can't be broken - friendship. I feel there's such a strong notion of that in PoT, and I'm really glad I managed to do it justice :)

Friendship was what I wanted to be one of the themes of this fic, and I'm really glad it showed. Fuji/Nanako, Ryoma would go mad! I would really love to see fic for that XD Fuji should definitely develop more interest for tennis, he's got so much talent and it's really sad that he doesn't have enough love for the game to continue with it :/ Atobe pwns all, doesn't he?

I'm soooo glad that you liked your birthday fic!!! And the dialog! I tried my best to make it flow smoothly, and I'm so glad you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it. God I know. I was in England, sitting in a café, and a guy came to ask if he could take one of the spare chairs, and I was like "Yes, but please tell me Nadal won Wimbledon." He told me "Nope, sorry, Federer did." I was like FUCK. He must have thought I was funny, he was laughing so much. I can totally see Atobe being Ryoma or Tezuka's manager in the future, if he doesn't turn pro himself. In this fic they've had to interact for a long time, so I thought it would make sense for them to be relaxed around each other, as opposed to how they bicker and compete against each other in Junior High/High School fics.
