One of Steve's Cumulus users has just informed him, in the course of bug-chasing, that his "temperatures are in degrees, thank you - not in Celsius!"
He's in the US, of course.

Absence of planning
Was on the phone with my GP earlier (about non-medical matters) I was coughing and barking and hacking and generally suffering and as he said goodbye he wished me well and hoped I'd be fully recovered soon. Feeling uncharacteristically grimy today. It's most likely the cumulative effects of lack of sleep. I just want to have a go at someone. I'm positively champing at the bit. *and* my feets is froze.

Mr L has a landmark birthday on 17/12 - he'll be hitting the big 50.
My question is - what kind of cake should I make him?
I'm going to K'wall on Thursday (assuming the present lurgy allows me) so can buy ingredients for just about anything...

A great place to bring up kids, start a commune, keep llamas, run a writers' retreat/exclusive B&B/birdwatchers' hostel... a great place for anything at all, if you ask me.
