Last week, I packed my bags, loaded the trailer, and hit the road. Last week, I also took my dog, of 14 years, to the veterinary hospital. It was her last car ride, and her last walk with me. How about that. I've got a fever. I've called in sick today. There's something I actually enjoy about having a fever. Maybe it's the mild hallucinations, or the body-fry, but I love curling up and watching re-runs of Golden Girls and Saved By the Bell, all while sweating out my sickness. Carpe Diem!

I feel right, right now. I've realized some traits about myself, although detrimental to my youth, surprisingly I welcome them. A glass of wine, and friends, and song.
