I liked this a lot. Especially the stubbly character sitting in the chair, thinking thinky, stubble-laden thoughts. It's almost BRISTLY.

I wanted to write scruffy!Dean, but it seems nigh impossible to scruff him up. I just can't see him unshaved in canon. (Unless a fangirl could kidnap him and have him locked up till the stubble grows so as to facilitate my muse?) So metaphorical bristle is yeeeeeei! Thank you.

I love it when I get your fic. This is a lot of how the last ep felt to me. How I felt Dean might feel. Jensen is so amazing. A flicker, a brief little glance, enough to read behind the bravado that is organically DEAN.
