I think that my room is looking for a 4th. Obviously we reserve veto power, but I'm yielding mine to Chrisco, our 3rd roommate.

I'll definitely be going to Pi-con, since I'm staff, and would be interested in getting in on a roomshare.

I talked to the others, we're cool. Just drop me an email and we can exchange contact info for actually doing the key exchange and the like.

Super. I had reserved a room in case I didn't hear back from you or the roomshare otherwise didn't work out, but I can cancel that after I get in touch with you by email. I'm on vacation and only checking email sporadically, so I will probably be in touch early next week.

I'd never heard of PiCon before, but it sounds really interesting. I lost count of the number of panels that actually sounded interesting. Usually I feel like I'm hard pressed to find even 5 over a weekend.

Since I don't yet have much vacation time built up in order to take Friday off, do you know how much a pass is for just Saturday? The website kindly tells me that they will exist, but nothing about price.

I'm not sure how much a day pass for Saturday is, at a guess probably about $30-$35. Springfield is about 2 hours drive from me (I'm not sure where you're working these days), so it's possible to leave after work and catch a lot of Friday programming, especially if you have flex time and can leave before rush hour.

I have a window in my schedule between moving day and the start of classes. About how expensive is this con, and how big?

The con is on the small side, maybe about 300 people. It's $40 for the weekend if you register in advance, $50 at the door. If you have a student ID, it's only $25. Hotel rooms are $109/night, which isn't too bad if you can find people to split with. Hope to see you there!
