My laptop finally died, or at least, its power supply did. And so I find myself looking for a new laptop.

Me and my computer
Got another motherboard and CPU. Suddenly my desktop is able to boot again without even reinstalling the OS. Reinstalled the OS anyway for good measure, so that I didn't have all the leftover tweaking from trying to get the system stable before. I just got wireless up and running ( Read more... ) -

I need to follow a coding standard with this, so it'd be nice if I could have a reason to follow it other than just blindly obeying. I'm also curious though, as I'd never heard of this standard until yesterday. -

Between my IQP and just in general being too busy to relax, I'd forgotten how much I love CS. I've been trudging through IQP stuff for the past two days miserably. Paint!
Since I got a mac, I've been looking for a replacement to MS Paint. For some reason this was hard to find. There was GIMP, but that was just overkill for some things.
Finally, I have a replacement! Might not be the best, but it seems like it'll be a decent program. here.
This makes me happy for overly basic image editing. -
Can I get paid please?
Due to my lack of internet access, as of yesterday, I'd been under the impression that honey farms had failed to pay me for 2 days of work, both of which I was not on the schedule for, so I was willing to forgive.
