It had happened again. Mjrn had crossed a threshold, into an item shop...and found herself elsewhere. That her surroundings were different from the dingy city of earlier was not a comfort, since the ruins didn't seem that much more promising.

Holding her spear close, Mjrn glanced around warily as she proceeded through the ruins. The last time, her stay outside Ivalice had been short. If this was the case now, then she might have little to fear.

Upon spotting a hume ahead of her, she quickened her pace. Perhaps this man had answers? She hoped so. "Sir! If I might have a moment of your time...."

...He wasn't quite expecting his half-hope to become a full-truth.

She was beautiful! With... weird rabbit ears. But still in the beautiful classification. "Good evening, miss. May I be of help?", he asked, polite. At least he knew he wasn't alone in this weird place.

Mjrn relaxed a little. At least this man was friendly, a welcome contrast to the forbidding ruins surrounding them. She dipped her head in a polite nod, pausing a few paces away.

"This I hope. These ruins are unfamiliar to me. Might you know their location?" Even as she spoke, Mjrn wondered what he was doing here. He didn't look the part of an adventurer or bounty hunter. But, first things first.

Edgar took the opportunity to look at her better. She looked like a strong woman, so he made the mental note not to mess with her. Not that he would do that, anyway.

"I'm afraid I'm as lost as you are, miss. As strange as it sounds, I was just about to enter my room when I ended up here...", Edgar paused. So she didn't know anything about this place either... still, it would be better to be with someone than completely alone.

"May I know your name?"

And she appeared in another place after opening a door. The place looked like if something really bad happened, but it was clearly obvious that she was in another world.

Oh, well. Things could be worse. She floated around, not letting the dirty floor touch her beatiful body at any cost, when she spotted someone interesting.

"You look lost~"

Edgar turned towards the sweet voice to find a woman. A barely-dressed woman. A particularly exhuberant barely-dressed woman. He blinked a couple of times.

She was still there.

Oh gods.

"Not lost enough, lady."

This was his lucky day.

A narcissist barely-dressed woman, to make it better. And of course, she was very aware of her body and the effect it caused in some man.

"Oh, really? Do you know where we are?" she asked with a smirk in her lips, crossing her arms under her chest.

"In heaven, by the looks of it", Edgar replied with a charming smile. "But if you wondered about the place around us, then I'm afraid I cannot help."

Surprising absolutely noone, Zidane was lost again.

He had gone trough a door, to get something warm to drink and found himself going out of some ruins.

This... Looked a bit like home had before he was kidnapped by this place, with the run down buildings and all the weird spirits around. And that just wasn't nice.

"Aw, man, I swear this place is going to drive me crazy." He said aloud, without noticing that a newcomer had just arrived.

YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE, MY SMALL, MONKEYLIKE PUPIL. hiswomanizersty December 28 2009, 03:14:41 UTC
That... wasn't a woman. Actually, he wasn't really sure if that was a human, if he judged by the tail. At least he didn't seem dangerous, and that was good enough for now.

"Crazy enough to start talking to yourself?", Edgar asked in a playful tone.

Zidane jumped after hearing the voice, and quickly looked around to see who was there.

Once he saw the man, he smiled a little. He didn't look aggressive or anything, so he got a little closer.

"Yeah, probably." Zidane grinned. "I'm sorry, didn't notice you were there, sir."

He knew that adding I spent eight years in a place where my voice was the only voice I could hear wouldn't be a nice way to introduce himself.

Edgar chuckled. This boy seemed nice.

"Don't worry about it. I won't make a habit of scaring crazy people. Are you from around here?"

Well, at least she didn't need pants any longer.

Genesis was still as confused as could be that she was somewhere else, but the lack of cold and snow was a distinct improvement. She hadn't been able to find any pants that fit her that didn't manage to make her look positively dowdy, and so she'd stayed in shorts the entire time. Plus, stiletto boots weren't particularly good at navigativing through snow, though at least she'd been damned good at punching holes in the ice.

Glancing around, she raised an eyebrow at the person who also happened to have come out in this particular street. "So, are you a newcomer, or yet another of us suckers who's been traveling along with this place?"

It was hard to miss that voice. Specially when it came from a vibrant young woman dressed in red. She looked strong and certainly well capable of taking care of herself, it wasn't hard to notice.

"I believe I belong to the Newcomer group, miss", said Edgar, his ever charming smile on his lips, and ignoring the sarcastic tone of the lady. "Do you know more about this place?"

"Mmm, a bit. As much as any of the rest of us, I suppose. It's a world that can look like multiple worlds - this is the third one I've been on - that seems to gather people from all sorts of places...and times. And possibilities." She shrugged a little. "I've met an older, male version of myself. That was certainly interesting."

Genesis smiled and gave him her own leisurely look, studying him. Handsome, certainly.

"It sounds interesting indeed", said Edgar. Of course, he had to shake his head a bit to get the idea of meeting a female version of himself out of his head and focusing on the matters at hand.

"I assume there is no known way to get out of here?"

Ohmigod. Hi there. :D rainbowbrush December 28 2009, 06:01:31 UTC
Edgar would have to settle for a cute young lady that he already knew.

Relm had been wandering around, exploring the new sights when she stumbled upon an open archway. When she walked through it, vertigo hit her, and when her vision cleared she found she was looking at someone very familiar indeed.

"No way. Of all the people, why'd you have to show up here?"

AHAHAHA HI :D hiswomanizersty December 28 2009, 15:58:39 UTC
He knew that voice. He knew it well.

Edgar turned around to see the very familiar face of the tiny artist and couldn't help to give away a small smile of relief. He was still lost and very much confused, but knowing there was a person he, well, knew was comforting.

"Relm! I'd never thought I'd miss that mouth of yours!"

Relm smirked up at him and winked. "'Course you missed me! Who wouldn't?" Truthfully, she was relieved to see someone she knew, someone she could trust. She'd never let Edgar know that, however.

She strolled over to him, still grinning. "Don't worry, Loverboy. You're safe with me here to protect you!"

"Please don't let me answer that", muttered Edgar, shaking his head with a slight smile. He felt a lot better now.

"My. It's a god thing I'm such a lousy fighter then. Take well care of my back!"
