Who likes blowing stuff up? That's right. Everyone. Here's to the 4th of july. And moreso to the 5th of july, and catching the native Americans as they close up shop. MMM.... explosives.

Well, it's been a few years, but I'm headed off to New Mexico again. This time we're hitting the North Country and the highest peak at Philmont. Sounds like a lot of fun, since I'm finally with people who know what they are doing and we're seeing places I haven't been. My goal is to take a lot of pictures, and send a few postcards back. So it's over now. So many doors closing, and so little I can do about it. Yet, I'm not sad. The past few days have taught me to look forward instead of backward. So yesterday I was running errands around town. I had the chance to talk to Huber about my speech, which won't be appearing in the program. Like that's going to stop me. So today was a large step forward in my life. I got new shoes. They're Adidas, and simillar to the last pair I had, which was abused through snow piles and so on over the winter. They finally fell apart yesterday. So they pass on, and we are left, struggling on with what is left ( Read more... )
