A while back I posted about a possible vegan cupcake stall to be held in Manchester, on behalf of Manchester Dogs' Home. I've now got some more details, so I thought I'd update everyone here and try to encourage you to come along! :)

Thank you! :) I've never sold any before, but I've sent a batch in the post to family members for special occasions, and they survived the trip in one piece. I just had to get rid of the delicate 'sprinkle' on the top, and instead of the 'butter'cream in the photo above, I made extra thick fudgey icing, to minimise the chances of melting in transit:

Yeah, I'm sure I could package them separately! I'll definitely look into it once I've finished my exams and dissertation (it's a really busy time at the moment), so would you be interested around mid-June time? It looks like people are charging around £5 for 6 cupcakes, with £3 postage. Does that sound reasonable?

If I didn't have a funeral to attend, I'd be there like a shot. Wednesday's usually a particularly good day for me to get to Manchester.

Not to worry. It is terribly sad, but there's no more pain for her, and that is a good thing.

Just make sure you do any future cupcake events in Manchester on a Wednesday, OK?!

Sure! Though I'm not sure I'll be doing any more after this; I graduate soon then I think I'm moving to Leeds! Maybe if you let me know your address, I can post you a couple (if they don't sell out!)? :)

I can't commit to coming to volunteer (too much chance I will oversleep, sorry, wouldn't want to let you down) - but I can commit to making the 50 minute journey to come and buy some and maybe bring a friend too! This sounds brilliant! :)

I am the most awesome fool. I thought this was today and showed up. Damn!

BUT it's okay because I am going to Sheffield on Friday to see Propagandhi and while I was in town today I bought their new CD. I guess I will see you next week!
