What the fuck? That's ridiculous. >:| I know how you feel though because, while I've not been in the exact situation as you, I've had people tell me stuff like that quite a few times! And like you, The Who really give me something to "hold onto" as well and are the reason I can stay so cheery most of the time. I just laugh in the face of people who think I should "let go" of Keith and the rest of them now. They don't understand.

Oh, he'll probably read this post, because he reads this journal o' mine daily.

But, I've been seeing that lately he has a small manipulative and possesive way of acting, really. And, that's kind of strange. I was friends with a boy like this, and, believe me, it ain't vry cool to stay so close to someone that wants you available 24/7, no matter what.

Aw, dude, I totally dig you. Sometimes I feel I'm in the same rut and I definitely know where you're coming from (all my heroes are dead too) and I used to lack contact with the real world (and sometimes I still do)
We live many miles away, but I'm here for you.
