SO, AS THOSE ON MY F-LIST WILL KNOW, I HAD AN INTERVIEW AT WESTMINSTER TODAY FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, WITH MY ADORABLE TORY MP.

And as well as the interview, he also got me a special!ticket to watch some of the questions in Parliament to the Environment and Rural affairs secretary. Which meant:

a. I GOT TO SEE JOHN BERCOW IN ACTION (AND HE WAS AMAZING)

It's going to be quite hard working for a Tory, actually. XD He got me to help out today with a question he was asking to the Environment minister. He basically wanted to say "Don't you agree Labour was crap at this?" in a more political!way, and I was gritting my teeth coming up with a variety of ways to bitch about my party. I ended up suggesting "expensive shambles", which he used. XD

Yeah I wouldn't want to do it lol, I've worked for two Labour people (an MP and an AM) and there was so much criticism in the office of the Tories. Both 'unparliamentary language' and base tribal politics but also in depth criticism. Butttt, just because it's in a political place it doesn't mean that you wouldn't have that elsewhere, I had a horrid Tory boss in a normal shop lol. And it will do your C.V. good and be mega fun!

Yeah, I'm doing it for the CV aspect, and also to put on my personal statement for uni. Plus, this MP is really nice, despite being a Tory, so I think he might actually tone down the anti-Labour banter while I'm around. Here's hoping, anyway. XD

I, uhh, saw a man who looked like a younger version of Bercow today so much I did a double-take. So anti-climactic compared to your amazing stories.

XD I'll definitely do that! I think it's only really things about him and his office he doesn't want me bleating over the internet, so any interesting!politician!anecdotes I should be able to blog about.

I WAS ESPECIALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE BADGER. XD We were sitting on the terrace, and he just walked by, and Robert Halfon leant over and went "Simone! That's Alastair Darling!"

...I was really tempted to say "I know. I recognised the eyebrows." XD
