IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR QUEEN

May 13, 2010 13:53

It has come to my attention that there are some concerns about the image that this country's politics and government will take due to the very apparent close relationship between the Prime Minister David Cameron, and his Deputy, Nick Clegg. I have decided, as the Queen, to voice my own opinions, and hopefully reassure ( Read more... )

YOU CONFESSED TO IT.

Wait, no. You know what? I'm not getting drawn into an argument about this. You'll just be completely unreasonable, as usual. I won't waste my time.

Wait, but if that's true why didn't you mention it during the conversation we had afterwards? I'm not sure I'm buying this...

Thank you, ma'am, I feel much better for having read this. You certainly seem to have the situation under control, and I'm sure you'll continue to keep a close eye on the workings of Cameron and Clegg's relationship.

To this end, might I suggest installing surveillance cameras in Number 10? I'm sure your majesty would find some of the resulting footage very... useful.

I shall have a word with Cameron on his thoughts about installing cameras. And indeed, I am positive that the resulting footage would be very interesting, to say the least.

I'll admit that I was dubious about their coalition at first. But with you monitoring them I feel reassured.

I second teenagelogic's suggestion above and recommend that CCTV be employed as quickly as possible.

Perhaps it could be broadcast in a similar fashion to Big Brother?

Oh, I do enjoy a spot of Big Brother! But as I already have said, I shall talk to Cameron about this. I don't want to give off the impression that I am someone to invade the privacy of others.

Your words are most reassuring.

I would like to suggest putting the CCTV on pay per view. It could go a long way towards reducing the country's deficit. Think of the greater good of the nation!

David, I'm quite sure that the electorate won't be too harsh on you buying A DECENT LOCK on expenses. Even civil servants get interest-free loans for travel, you know.

I have had several decent locks in my time. It would seem that my enemies keep buying decent lock-picks :(

Perhaps you should not use the word "bitch" when addressing his bicycle matters.
