Tokyo Job Fair

This past weekend, Leizel and I went to a job fair in Tokyo for JET program participants. Neither of us had been to a job fair and it was pretty stressful overall. I tend to view those parties with a suspicious eye. It's like they're saying "enjoy the party now, you'll never see another one again". At least that's been my experience in my minimmal 20 years of existence.

Heh yea, that may especially be the case at a big-city Japan company where you work 6 days a week with hours and hours of "mandatory" overtime.

Yea, the sundown view from that direction is one of the best. The night-time view (with the city glowing in the background) might be the best.

You should fly over here sometime if you've got the spare vacation...I believe (hope) Seth is planning a trip sometime and a few other Daytonians have said they'd come over sometime. I can give you a good tour of both the countryside and the big city. Plus I'll buy a chess board so we can have a proper face-to-face game (I'll probably still lose though).
