I think I got The Real for something like $35 from DVDHeaven. Granted I had to pay postage from Korea, but it wasn't too bad!
It IS super shiny, and I love it so much! I can't wait until the concert DVD is out (sometime this month, I heard).
Most twdramas aren't that crazy. Well, they have the requisite craziness, but they're often quite angsty too (my favorite twdrama was all fun and romantic until, literally, everyone died). I personally think they're a nice mix between jdramas and kdramas! Shan Bao Mei is on the cracktastic side! Have you seen the rocket-penis yet?!
I hope it's not Region 3! The Real and The Great weren't, but of course Global Warming had to go and screw that up....
Oh no, it's totally understandable! I thought that all kdramas were tragic before I had even seen any! Oh, what other twdrama have you seen?! Twdramas are my favorites. They're usually not as well produced (and God, production SUCKS), but the stories are often really good IMO. Course, I AM biased!
It's called Love Contract, and it's SUCH a good drama, but if you do watch it, spoil yourself for the ending. Otherwise it will rip your heart to shreds with it6's random death and depression in THE LAST EPISODE.
I saw a picspam someone did at one point, and man, gotta hand it to Taiwan, they really outdid themselves. Like, the sex scene in Fated to Love You involved images of rockets blasting off and trains entering tunnels.
Oh Bones!! I thought I might be the only one that LIKED that show!! (Plus love David Boreanaz!!) I haven't finished the first season though, I only got to watch a bit of it so far. But I definitely want to watch more!
I saw that too. I think I mentioned that though. (*secret* Actually couldn't help myself and ended up posting a comment! lol + points if you can figure out which one is from me!) I don't get the "wow, their English sucks!" comments. Their English is great! And I'd really like to see some of them try to sing in Korean, because I bet they couldn't do it. There were also people saying, why are they saying it like hip-hop slang? And why can't they? Should they speak in weird perfect English? Because THAT'S how all of us REALLY talk. LOL
Definitely not! I ADORE Bones! I discovered it last year, and promptly marathoned seasons 1 and 2. I watched season 3 while it aired, but then stopped this season (I blame dramas). I'll watch it eventually :D
Hehe! You commented? I never comments, because I'm afraid I'm just going to go apeshit on all the stupid people... But yeah, their english was AMAZING! I saw absolutely nothing wrong with it! Even if they're english hadn't have been good, I mean, yeah, exactly! Lets see all those people try to sing in Korean! And yeah, like we don't talk in slang! And it's a hip hop video, they're kinda supposed to talk like that. It'd be weird if they didn't.
