Brazil (formerly Jets to Brazil):  These guys were decent.  They sounded pretty good overall, but the drummer wasn't as tight as he probably should have been.  I like their style, very prominent on the piano, but they got old fast I guess.  Overall, I liked them a good amount though.

Funeral for a Friend:  Started out strong with a nice, metal riff

agreed. Amy Lee from Evanescence has a good voice... but their CD is boring and I don't think she would work if it was more intricate

well, not a band actually, just the fat lady singing, signifying the end of all female lead singers EVER beginning with herself, because all girls who think they can have a band are annoying.

You should have used them to prove your point. I agree with you. I hear a girl singing in a band and I feel like stabbing myself in the eyes with a fork. (unless of course, she is hot and bangable)

So the first time I read that comment, I read the word "bangable" to be "banjable" with the "J" sound of g rather than the "guh" sound of G. I had no idea what it meant. I am stupid and cannot read.
