Just in case anyone’s ever looking for a character to apply as, and can’t think of one:

First of all, Popcorned characters! - i.e., characters people have given up (who have been transformed into popcorn kernels). If you'd like to play one, please let us know. E-mailing the mods is the surest way of reaching us quickly. If you'd like to give a character up and have them popcorned, please let us know that, as well. Please do not post to the former popcorn plaque which is now out of date -- the one which was here.
You might also want to take a look at the adoptions post. Some of the characters up for adoption are simply underused by their players, but others are being held to avoid their being popcorned, and the people holding them would love to hand them over to an enthusiastic player.
