OMG, I hate my life. I'm feeling whiny, so feel free to skip the rest of this post. I switched birth controls about four months ago. Shortly after, I noticed I had no patience and I was feeling grumpy and angry all the time. ANGRY. I asked one of my pharmacist co-workers what they thought of that and they said the birth control I use has that ( Read more... )

That sucks about the birth control. There was some pill I was on awhile back, it might have been Mircette, don't remember completely, and it made me super duper depressed. I'm glad I realised it before I'd been on it too long at least. Also, that sucks about the thyroid stuff, crappy doctors are crappy!

I'm sure my nurse who rocks will change it back to my old stuff. The real issue is whether or not I can get our friend Todd to commit to a vasectomy, which is an idea he did previously commit to. Then I can stop taking the crappy anti-baby nuggets!

Doctors Suck. For the most part.

Birth Control Pills are nasty business. I never liked taking them and they screwed up my body more every time I was on them.

My hair got thin, my skin got bad, I gained weight, grew hair in wierd spots and my sex drive was ruined. I wish I had never taken them in the first place. My body was never the same again.

Sorry Love. I would recommend anything BUT pills.

As far as your thyroid, what kind of symptoms are you having? It may be a nutritional thing. People with thyroid problems generally respond well to a slight diet adjustment (along with the right meds/regulators, etc..)

Also, there is this Yoga exercise that really helps the thyroid which I will describe in more detail if you would like. It is a really simple pose that is supposed to work wonders.

Well, love I've been on the pill for ten years and it works. The only way I'll go off it is if Todd agrees to get a vasectomy. Thank you though.

Describe the yoga exercise; I'm curious!

It's a shame y'all aren't local- I know a guy who runs a great dog obedience school.

I've heard a couple people say Hot Tub Time Machine was funny, which strikes me as weird because I thought it looked like it would be pretty dumb.

We start classes with her the Saturday after this next one. We're going to PetSmart; they have the best prices and times. We'll see how she does!

"Hot Tub Time Machine" was hilarious!
