The weekly update list
OMG, I hate my life. I'm feeling whiny, so feel free to skip the rest of this post. I switched birth controls about four months ago. Shortly after, I noticed I had no patience and I was feeling grumpy and angry all the time. ANGRY. I asked one of my pharmacist co-workers what they thought of that and they said the birth control I use has that affect. I had switched to it because it's supposed to help with adult acne. My adult acne has decreased in severity but it's still there.
I must remember to make an appointment to get switched back to my old birth control this Friday. Speaking of doctors, I went to one last Thursday to talk about some residual hypo-thyroid symptoms I still have, despite the increased dose. He completely and totally dismissed everything I said. He totally reminded me of the sports doctor I went to two years ago. He didn't care one bit about what I had to say. He literally kept saying over and over that my symptoms were not because of the hypo-thyroidism. At one point I actually said to him, "Yeah, I know. You keep saying that over and over." He stopped and looked at me. He was incredibly rude. He actually told me when he entered the room that he didn't want to mess up what the nurse practitioner was doing with my treatment so I should have told him then that I wanted to leave and get a co-pay refund. What a waste of an hour.
Then I sat for three and a half hours of filling in clouds on my back. It wasn't bad until Andrew tried to fill in some white where he had already layered purple and black. That hurt. We're almost done though! Pics to come soon, I promise! We haven't taken any. I keep forgetting.
We're shopping around for obedience classes for Supe. She's pretty smart but she's gotten stubborn about coming to us when we call.
Todd'd parents gave him a $300 gift card to Home Depot so he could buy a grill. He bought one on sale and had it delivered. We managed to assemble it without killing each other! Poor baby. It's a good thing I helped though; he likes to skip steps and he doesn't read everything completely. It's a big three-burned propane dealy. I have to get a tank soon.
I really want to call into work tomorrow but there's no one to cover for me. My boss was on vacation for week and a half and it has been so nice without her negativity. I really hate her.
I ordered some Klogs online and got them last week. I wore them for about two hours before I realized the left shoe was too small. My feet are two different sizes. It's annoying. Anyway, I returned them and ordered a larger size. They should arrive soon. I'm so excited too because my right foot was so comfortable. They're cute too!
Izzy is still at Honda House, waiting on pipes. I had the shop order a set of Vance & Hines Cruzers (previously mentioned) but they didn't arrive last week, as hoped.
last night Todd and I went to see "Hot Tub Time Machine". It was very hilarious! Many of the funny parts were totally unexpected! It reminded me a lot of "The Hangover".
