How MANY beers? 0.0

Yes, a very strangely hot pairing to have survived so long unnoticed.

(That's saying a lot coming from a tallish woman like myself. In my teens, I resented all of the petite girls who stole the big guys and left me staring DOWN at my date. Obviously, I'm over that.)

Not that many, sadly!

I'm sure Legrand would prefer somebody closer to his own height, if only for logistics (and of course in my other stories with him , he gets one ;) ) but I'm sure he and Djaq would work something out - she's the smart one after all...

Hmm, I may need to write some more...

(My brother is 6'6" - he always seemed to date quite tall girls - at least I don't remember him with anyone particularly petite.)

Height isn't an issue when you're horizontal anyway, right? ;)

No, then it becomes all about length...

(I am so sorry!)

That must have taken a lot of beer, lol.

As much as I hate to see Djaq with anyone but Will, this kind of works for me. I like all the double entendre with language too.

Not much at all, actually!

In Djaq's defence this is before she or Will have spoken up for each other and with a guy who isn;t going to stick around. I think it's just a fling...

And we loves the double entendres, particularly in French ;)

Thanks for the comment!

Also, is this not for Intercomm then? You didn't tag it that way, or cross-post it.

I have no issues with that. Just asking...

I hummed and hahhed about that one...

It's not about Djaq. It's about Djaq and Legrand - and pretty evenly split between them - so I decided it probably wasn't really eligible.

Fwiw, i thought we'd decided that shipfic was ok, as long as one of the people being shipped was the main character of the comm?

I leave it to you to decide, of course.

Actually I had to check the rules for someone else and they say "Shipfics and genfics are acceptable, provided the central focus remains on the community's character."

I thought the focus of this wasn't clearly enough on Djaq.

Feel free to get a second opinion from railise or one of the other mods tho'. I'm more than happy to be over-ruled...

*sniffles*

sad, hot, and amazing - in reverse order. multiple languages (some even spoken) all used to fantastic effect.

and a superb closing line.

can we bribe you to write more?

Thank you!

I am always open to bribes! I'm also always open to just being asked nicely ;)

I suspect there may be more from this pairing. For some reason, they're not going away...

I may even need to ask the mods for an official "pair: djaq/legrand" tag!

I am ridiculously pleased by this, even if you did kill Legrand off at the end.

It wisnae me! A bad writer man did it an' ran away!!

Remember - he's still alive and well and lusting after a completely different outlaw elsewhere... ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
