Good to know! I like being able to see my Dropbox 'thingy'.

Still making my mind up if I prefer Unity to Gnome generally...do you have an opinion on that yet?

Doh! This is what happens when I neglect my email! I'm so sorry!

In a way, yes, I like Unity. It is, however, much more on the "Mac" side of things, designed to be more user friendly, and you lose some flexibility in that process.
