When news first broke that Joss Whedon was beginning an official Season 8 of Buffy in comic form, it was going to run for 22 issues just as a US TV series runs for 22 episodes per season.

A few months later, the number was upped to 'around 30.'

Chapter 14 of 'Ladder' went up at TPP yesterday.  It's an interlude chapter, but one that focuses on the interactions of HG and SS.  Science swottiness alert.
