About last night

Well the party was a roaring success. Have to congratulate Tony for spending two months planning for it and still managing to surprise his GF, Lisa. I did my bit helping prepare the house, getting filthy digging his picnic tables out of the mud, then directing people where to park. Only 30 people showed for the actual surprise, then folks ( Read more... )

Dance Away tzel April 6 2003, 18:27:12 UTC
I havn't been dancing since before the accident (which was the day before Christmas Eve). I love to dance, unfortunately I don't think I'm any good at it. :)

Are you ok? The accident sounds severe.

As far as dancing well. Who cares? No one is paying you to watch you dance. Enjoy yourself, don't worry about the snobs.

Oh believe me, I don't worry. Anyone that's seen me will tell you that. Of course, with enough liquid rhythm in me I'm an excellent dancer, just ask me after I've had some.

The Accident tzel April 7 2003, 18:17:50 UTC
Yes, I'm ok. I was t-boned by a silver sedan. She said I ran the red, I don't remember anything from the time I left my parkinglot to thinking "why is that car moving?" My car rolled twice, but I got away with a dislocated shoulder and some minor scrapes and bruises. Evidently I hit my head, hence the partial amnesia. I've remembered a couple of things, like I was listening to the Gladiator soundtrack and I dislocated my shoulder by bracing my arm against the roof of the car while it rolled to keep myself in place. The car actually landed on it's tires. I was running around checking on the other motorists when the emergency crew herded me onto the back board and into the neck brace. I still hurt now and then, but I'm much better. This would be why I'm frequently thanking the Powers That Be and Toyota. (I was driving an Echo. The interior remained pretty much intact thanks to the steel reinforcement they put in there. I now own another Echo.)

Sounds like you had fun! My social life pretty much consists of wandering around Lowe's and begging hapless employees to tell me how to do home improvement projects in terms that a monkey could understand...because they love that sort of stuff, I'm sure. :D

I get like that, sometimes for months, but I have an advantage with several of my friends owning construction companies. You can learn alot, when you invite someone over to watch a game. ;<)

Love Lowe's can hang there for hours.
