Cake world please help

I need input. . .I'm working on my policy for wedding cake tastings. I'm thinking for a fee of $20 you get to sample a certain # of cakes and then should you book with me that $20 will go towards your cake order.

1. Do you think that is a fair policy?
2. How many flavors should they get to sample. .

Any suggestions help, thanks!!!

I don't know how it's "usually" done these days, but it seems like a reasonable idea in my non-professional-cake-world eyes.
