Oddly, Doctor Who is also getting next Saturday off.

Not really. Next week is Memorial Day weekend and the Sci-Fi channel is showing nothing but movies that weekend. As a result, none of the regularly scheduled programs are shown that weekend.

Did you go to Happy's Pizza yet? Is the parking free there?

I meant the British airings. I don't follow it on scifi, because I'm an impatient little man.

Happy's had free, though packed, parking. And made for a very good lunch Friday.

Maybe they skipped a week to keep in step with the American schedule...um...right. OK. I don't know what I'm talking about but there might be a kernel or truth in there since the Sci-Fi channel is now only a few weeks behind the British schedule, unlike last year when they were months off.

You don't want SNK Arcade Classics. It's racked with horrible slowdown, particularly Shock Troopers which slows to a crawl whenever you switch characters.

Of course I want it. Why on earth would I pay like 500 dollars for a couple of those games when I could pay 15 bucks for the lot of them? A little slowdown doesn't bug me at all.

So that is the first Sonic Drive-In in your area? Wow. Here we have more Sonics than you can shake a stick at. In fact I believe it's written in the Texas Constitution that a small Texas town cannot call themselves a town unless they have a Sonic or DQ (they can't call themselves a city without both). :P

Sonic started out in Oklahoma so it makes sense that they'll spread out to Texas and New Mexico before going north.
