2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 I haven't done any book reviews in awhile. Not sure why.
I have a bunch of unfinished Peanuts-style pages for Philip Roth's The Plot Against America, and haven't even started the reviews for about eight or nine books I've read since then. I think it's partially because the reviews started to become so much work.
So now I'm starting to do them fast and loose, and hopefully I will come back to these pages after I've finished an entire review, and clean them up for publication. I'm going to try to do the same thing with the Roth/Peanuts review - fast and loose, come back and clean it up later. Anyway, here's the first part of a new review, with a quick and dirty review of Richard Powers' Gain to follow tomorrow (and a couple of sketchbook pages to follow on Thursday).
