No, the one is modeled after Shermy, sort of. Shermy used to be the main character, after Charlie Brown. The Shermy-esque kid is supposed to be little Phil Roth, the other kid is just some random blonde kid.
I was just hanging out with my new friend Andrej yesterday and I showed him some of your work and I was wondering whether I could connect you two unto possibly getting some kind of collaboration/ connection between (former) Yugoslavian alternative comics (http://www.stripburger.org/) and some people in the New York scene (maybe a gallery show or some kind of event? both here and in New York?). I know you might not be way into the comic thing but I figured you'd be a great resource..
Also here are some awesome things Andrej is working on:
Grejpfrut arts collective (featuring the first ever Slovenian kung-fu movie!) - http://www.grejpfrut.net/
Unfortunately, I don't know a lot of comic book people, but I'll try to drum up some names. I can't see most of the Grejpfrut site, but I'll look when I get home. The interactive walls look cool - what is it, fans that blow a hinged piece of paper?
We'd really appreciate if you could send some names of comic people our way!
The interactive walls are modified air conditioner vents, I am not 100% certain how they are all mounted and connected. I'm trying to help Andrej get the show up in New York for some time in late 2008 or 2009, so I'll let you know in advance if/when that happens so you can come and check it out.

Andrej's new project - interactive walls - http://andrejkamnik.carbonmade.com/projects/2003930
Anyway, if you think of anything or anyone he should talk to in NYC I'd really appreciate!
