I'm not quite sure I understand dating anymore...I've been out of the loop for what seems to be a very long time...why I'm typing this out I don't really know...well maybe I do...maybe I just want to know if any of you out there feels the same way as I do

GENIUS! i adore the way you think but don't you ever get lonely? or just wish someone would surprise you with something sweet? relationships are so warm and snuggly and full of fuzzy-wuzzy, mushy-gushy goodness tooooo (sometimes lol)

man, i totally agree, what you need to do is rid yourself of any idea that you think dating is, i mean with all the rules and shit, what you should and should not say, how the hell do you ever get to know someone? JUST DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO !!! its the only way to meet someone you want to be with, if you go out with someone with the idea in mind that you have to impress them, or that they must do certain things, you are going to fail, or just be with a liar.
Go out as friends and lose inhibitions about what you have to say or do, if you feel like sleeping with them, sleep with them, if you feel like kissing them , then kiss them, if you feel like making them wait and just having a good time, do that.

If you dont date with your own veiw and such, or go by someone elses rules of what it should be, then you are only going to end up with someone who isnt like you at all, and who maybe doesnt like you at all, just liked what you were doing.

That is my veiw.

I agree with Catherine.

And not to insinuate that this was due to poor relationships because they certainly haven't been all bad, but when I look back on the past several years, I've been at my happiest and most confident when single.
