Well, we see that Cam is not so willing....YET! But I wonder will John ever find out that Rodney was right...that Cam wasn't drunk and knew he was having unsafe sex and could have stopped it.

John, silly boy you should discuss such matters before having sex.....me thinks you need some one to talk to aobut this problem you have with assuming everyone will agree with your plans. Especially if you are going to try and make things work between two other men that really don't like each other.....LOL

Now the big question is did John and Rodney make a baby?

Thank you for contineuing with the story. Be it John and Cam or John and Rodney....I need closure, LOL

Hope you're having a good weekend.

Thanks for the long comment! I honestly haven't decided whether John will find out how Cam wasn't as far gone as he was when they concieved Dane. I think part of the problem is Cam would need to be aware of that fact himself and I don't think he really understands his actions from any other POV than that John is his one true love and that night was what finally drew them together.

John really needs to have someone give him that talk . . . unfortunately, Teyla is still on Atlantis at this point.

Well now I've flip back to not wanting Cam with John. Rodney is willing to do this for John, but Cam isn't. Ah well, I'll just have to wait and see where you take this!

Interesting. I never thought about it that way. I think that Cam's response is actually more genuine - he's really thinking about whether he can do it, whereas I think Rodney is much more prone to agree to things just because John wants them.

This verse has me so tense! I was so nervous about John telling Cam and now he has and it's not as simple/easy as John hoped/thought/assumed it would be.

This is such a good triangle!

Thanks! Yeah, no doubt John just had no idea how complicated things turn out to be.

Thanks! Yeah, John pretty much constantly falls on his own sword with his lack of ability to communicate and empathize. In this roo'verse, I think this is because John just wasn't raised to understand the full breadth of human motivation. In cannon, I see John as antisocial and mildly sociopathic at time.

Yeah, John's timing sucks! *sigh*

Well you know how I'm hoping this ends up, but I have to say, I totally understand Cam's feelings here. He's the third wheel in a lot of ways, because he knows John would not have become involved with him if it weren't for the baby forcing that to happen. It's blindingly obvious that John and Rodney love each other as friends and lovers and colleagues; so I can see how Cam would not take John at face value here even after being seduced by him. I think it's obvious that John really needs Cam in his life to balance the chaos that is Rodney, and he loves Cam for who he is, but for Cam to see that will take more than John just saying so.

Great update, I'm enjoying the twist and turns you take this story on.

I agree - John's feelings towards Cam are absolutely genuine. I think Cam has less a problem with doubting what John feels for him and more with his own personal morality - he wants to marry for love and he doesn't love Rodney.
