An odd voyerism..!

Since I've so little room left, and since I don't really get paid enough to live at the bare minimum (not without the bonuses for my education, which will balance things out..), I've taken to selling off old things on Amazon Marketplace. Its almost voyeuristic, in an odd way, to make such sales ( Read more... )

Wasn't there a TV movie like that, starring Bruce Campbell as himself? Yet still kicking some random monster's ass, I recall...yet the name of the movie escapes me. :-P

What did I just see him in...oh! He was the psuedo-french Matre'D in Spiderman 3. :-P

His next movie revolves around him being.. himself, but everyone thinking he's Ash from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, and trying to get him to fight an invasion from.. hell? Or something! I think. I can't look it up at the moment, doing too much classwork. :)

Franklin was the quintessential American and is one of my favorite Founding Fathers.

I've read extensive biographies on him, John Adams, and Harry Truman, but for good reason. :)

I do a lot of this kind of thing at my work, since I'm the shipper. :-P
Though in my case it's always the same stuff...golf clubs. So I go 'hm, these clubs are going all the way across the world. Neat!'

We do a lot of APO military shipping too. Whatever works! :-P

Hee. We send a lot of those.

What's interesting is the number of Home Schooling books we send to.. well, mostly South Carolina..

That's right, you work for UPS, right? I didn't know they did APO addresses. We have to ship ours USPS. :-P

Hah...there's so many homeschooling books back at my old house in California that I often wished I could send to South Carolina. I was homeschooled for most of my elementary and junion high years. :-P My mom collected tons of textbooks even if she never used barely half of them.

I don't think we do, actually, but I could be wrong!

See, there's a lot of "Biblesoft" boxes we send out to there, too, but also NC and Virgina - but this is a limited subset, as those are the locations which I load, so, maybe a lot go to every state, honestly. :)

We send regular packages of movies to my brother-in-law per his request - homemade movies of the little ones (naturally), and "regular" movies too. We also sent a laptop with him - it was prone to breaking down, though, so Papa recently purchased another one and got it set up and ready for him to pick up while he was on leave for his son's first birthday. He also calls Michi regularly on his cell phone when he can - he doesn't get to take it with him on missions, so there'll often be weeks where they don't get to talk (during which time Michi's calls to us go up significantly). So they get to keep quite a few toys handy, here and there ( ... )
