Still, he'd walk under his own power now, thank you very much. He didn't much feel like playing the fool in front of the Sultan at the moment. If he did, so soon after that last encounter, he'd probably snap.
However, what should he do if he snapped? Pluck his eyes out? Bite off his nose? Startle him into an open fire?
These dark thoughts pleasing him, Zechs began to hum a little as he followed his master, his spirits lightened.
