So, after being partially electrocuted and stabbed with a needle this past Tuesday afternoon, I'm more or less stuck doing the waiting game.

Well, at least it's not Carpal Tunnel.

And I fully understand how annoying it is to be told, "well, we now know it's not X, Y, D, F, or Q, but we still don't know what it *is*."

When was the last time you had your thyroid checked and do you know actual numbers for the results?

Mixed results suck, the electrical device for the record was likely some sort of TENS unit, wish you the best for your future appointment in determining what it could be.

I had this done to my right arm a while ago - turns out I have moderate nerve damage and cubital tunnel, which is carpal tunnel for the elbow. Luckily, minor surgery can fix it.

I had the same response as you about the test - i.e. it really wasn't that bad. Honestly, being zapped with the current was more bothersome to me than the needle, which was basically an accupuncture needle that barely goes past skin-deep.

Hopefully your tests will come back as something totally fixable and minor!
