what can I say but WOW. Tonight was what I've been needing for what seems like a long time now. I talked to Megan for over four hours on the phone. I think we can finally put everything that's happened behind us. I'm so determined to make it up to her though, somehow, sometime. I'm not toally sure yet how, but I have a few ideas. I'm not

brodie, you talk things behind you and moving on and concentrating on the present and future, but you need to understand that there will be more things to come. it's not always gonna be peaches and cream. i learned that the hard way,and i thank god i have a second chance. love is wonderful but it is also understanding that times aren't always going to be the best and that things aren't always perfect (though it may seem like it when you are in love). the trick is: don't sweat the small stuff. things could always be ten times worse. now i'm going to contradict myself. talk about the small stuff. if there are any concerns. the best way to deal with it is to talk about it before it turns into a big concern and ends up causing more problems than needed.. it's a delicate balance between these two ideas that you need to understand. i know that you and megan know eachother so well that you both can do what you need to do when the time comes.....ok sorry if that didn't make any sense but it is 3:12 am ,after all.

Yes, i know there will be more things to come in the future, but I can't sit here and fear the future because there will be other bad times. I know that the bad times will be there, but that makes the good times so much better. Without fighting, there is no making up. Without rain, we would not have the rainbow. Without the winter, we couldn't have the spring. Without dirt, there would be no flowers. Yes, these just popped into my head. But I am looking toward the good times, but prepared to face the not so good. I just know Megan and I can make it through the storms..
