I hope it all goes well, and I am sure it will. Let us know how you are doing when you can, okay?
It's a scary thing but it's over fast, and they are so good at making it not hurt. Whatever they offer you (drugs, nitrous, etc.) don't feel like you have to be brave - take it!
Thank you! It went really well, didn't take more than a minute to pull the tooth out, and the bleeding stopped quickly and I could chew again the very same evening! Of course my jaw still hurts a little, but no more than what can be expected, and I don't need any painkillers or anything. :D
Any operation comes with a bit of worry, but I'm sure you'll be right as rain soon after!
(Last July Sean had an operation to remove some teeth...he was put under anesthetic and was asleep for about 2-3 hours. He was a bit groggy when he woke up, but was as right as rain after a short nap.)
I was especially worried since I'd never had a tooth operation before, but it went perfectly smoothly and quickly and I had no troubles afterwards. Of course, there's some minor pain in my jaw but that can be expected and it's not bad at all!
I suppose they only give full anaesthetics to kids because I only got a local anaesthetic that numbed my left jaw for about 5 hours.
Glad Sean didn't have any complications after his operation either! :)
I guess it's worse when you have them all taken out at once. Thank God I only had one to be taken out, and it went perfectly well. I was practically pain-free (apart from the minor pain in my jaw that is natural after an operation like this) the very next day. :)
You'll do this! I'll be thinking of you when I'm at uni! (As long as I don't have to think about creepy stuff such as 'How did the word 'to tweet' change its menaing in the course of time?' everything will be fine, especially a classy face such as yours! ;)
LMAO, I hope you weren't distracted with all your thoughts about me and could concentrate on your uni stuff! :D
(It's amazing how quickly that word changed, isn't it? Everyone links it to Twitter nowadays and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people who take English lessons have completely forgotten about the original meaning. XD)
HAHAHAHAH, CLASSY FACE. *dies laughing* I'm not Xabi Alonso! XDDDD
