*sees pics of San Sebastián*

*dies*

Oh, Bill, shall we both move to the Basque Country one day? We could watch football and drink mosto and eat pintxos and stalk Llorente and it'd be so awesome!!!

I sign your manifesto about never wanting to leave it. I honestly do. The only other place in the world that made me feel like this was, strangely enough, Trieste...

I love your pics, even if they make me (not-really) homesick!

:)

*patpat* It's impossible to do the city justice with pics, so I'm glad to see you enjoyed my photos. :)

Move to the Basque Country? Watch football, drink mosto, eat pintxos and stalk Llorente? Hell yes! :D That would be utterly amazing. (Though I guess we'd argue about where to move... XDDDD)

Trieste? That sounds interesting! I've never been there, but if you say it's that gorgeous, I think I have to go there! :)

The Basque people are really way too lucky. ;)

My buddy and I never entered the cathedral because we're both not really fond of churches, but I must say it looked very impressive from the outside. (And I might not be religious but I can appreciate great architecture! :))

Hahahahaha! I was wondering if I should take them with me and keep them safe for you! XDDDDDD

Looking at all those weapons and the dioramas at the Museo de la Armería made me want to re-watch Sharpe so so much. :D And then it made me want to get a diorama for myself and re-enact the battle. XDD I'm a geek. XD

Awww, I never commented on this entry but I have to!!! It needs to be short, though, because my eyes are watering like crazy and I have to type really slow and I keep making mistakes. :(

Vitoria is really pretty. I really like the Parque de la Florida.

Oh god, those dioramas are amazing. I would have been there hours looking at them!

Oh, Bilbao is GORGEOUS!!! Amazing!!! I am gonna LOVE it!!!

LOL @ Bilbo!!! XDDD

That view from Mt. Igueldo left me gasping! Seriously, it's awesome and I thought nothing could beat the view from along the Amalfi Coast in Italy!!!!

The foosball table with Athletic vs Real Sociedad is TOO ADORABLE!!! I want one for home!!!! XDDDDD

LOL @ 'Rivendell'!!! Soooooo sweet!

thanks for another fabulous post, Bill!♥

Oh dear, you shouldn't have felt obligated to comment on this when you were not feeling well! *hugs*

Vitoria wasn't love at first sight because we got hopelessly lost on our way to the tourist information and J was getting frustrated (as he always does when he gets lost), but once we'd overcome the first obstacle and finally knew where to go, it was really nice. :)

Those dioramas were BRILLIANT! :D

(Hehe, Bilbao IS gorgeous, but I'm sure you meant San Sebastián here. :))

Everyone who visits San Sebastián should take the funicular and go up Monte Igueldo, nothing in this world can compare to this view. :) (Did you know that Álvaro Arbeloa tweeted almost the same picture a week after I was there? :D)

I want that foosball table too! Alas I have no space, but OMG, how awesome would it be to have it?

Thanks for another fabulous comment! :D

OMG if I could get that foosball table back on the plane I would do it!!! It's TOO AWESOME!! But no, I really, REALLY want the set of Athletic Bilbao dishes!!!!!! *loves* I suppose I could get them to ship them to me!!!! How awesome would that be?????

You're very welcome! *HUGS* *SQUEES*

If we manage to get tickets for the game, I'd say we should leave for San Sebastián in the morning so we can do a little sightseeing (including the funicular, obviously!) before going to the stadium (it's not near the city centre, unlike San Mamés). If we don't get tickets, I wouldn't mind watching the match in San Sebastián anyway, I'm sure there are some bars in the old town that show the match. But it's up to you ladies. :)

Hahaha, no, Real Madrid had a game against Real Sociedad that weekend. (Otherwise Álvaro would really have sucked at following me, considering I was there the week before. XDD)

I fear the dishes might be gone already, the date for the campaign is longe over, but maybe they have some dishes at the fanshop. We shall go look! :D
