Here's the next update of my Liverpool photos! I assume most of you don't care (my latest update got zero comments), but I'm posting the pics for the sake of completeness, and then I'll go prepare my Spain posts.

Argh, all your pretty pics make me want to go to Liverpool now more than ever! And the lab techs here just got back from there (work trip) and they bought me an 'I ♥ Liverpool' mug, and it's like... argh, I wanna go!!! Why does everyone else get to go but me? *throws a tantrum*

(btw, that Andalusian drink definitely looks like manzanilla!)

You so must visit Liverpool, but I'm sure you know that. I guess I don't have to tell you how beautiful the city is, and how much there is to see. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! (And I'd love to have workmates like you who bring me souvenirs from their holidays! What an adorable gesture!)

(I did some research about that drink and thought it was manzanilla because that's an Andalusian specialty, but I wasn't sure, so thanks for confirming my suspicion! :D)

YESSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for these photos and I absolutely love them and I'm still really sorry that I couldn't get up to see you when that ash cloud stranded you here, I love Liverpool to bits !!

And yes it's true you can't describe the atmosphere in Anfield until you have actually been there, but goosebumps and hairs standing on the back of your neck when "You'll Never Walk Alone" is sung springs to mind.

Can't wait to see your Spain pictures :)

YAY, glad you like the pictures! Don't worry about meeting up, I know that the train prices can be horrible in the UK (just like in Germany), and I would never have expected you to pay that much for just one afternoon. :)

Anfield is awesome. It's a bit sad that they're going to build a new stadium, but the bright side is that the atmosphere will move house with the rest of Liverpool FC. :)

AMAZING pics! They are truly wonderful. I spent a long time looking at them, trying to remember any sights from Liverpool that I remembered from when I was there. But since I was only 10, I could only remember the Port of Liverpool building. I think it awed me a bit, and it looks like it still would today!

I LOVE the Spanish exhibition, especially the entertainment! LOL @ your 'gaydar' & being able to tell the band singer was gay! (I think you're right, though.) XDDD

The Liverpool game pics are great. I'm sorry you didn't get more of Benfica, though! But awesome picspam just the same!

The Port of Liverpool building sure is impressive - I'm not surprised it awed you! And if you can't remember much of the rest of Liverpool, you definitely have to go and visit the city again soon! *nudgenudge* ;) I'd gladly come with you! XD

The singer behaved very slashily indeed. I can upload some videos of the performances (though the sound quality is rather bad, and the songs they recorded in the studio are better than those I took videos of), you'll definitely see what I mean. XDDD

I decided not to take any pictures of the game because it would have distracted me from the action, and Benfica were warming up on the other side of the pitch. Otherwise I would definitely have taken pictures of them. Ah well, there are always preseason friendlies, maybe Benfica will play near me one day, then I'll definitely take some photos for you. :)
