This is awesome! I have posted a few pics of FC Augsburg in my Bundesliga picspams because I noticed how well they are doing this season. I am so happy about that (for your sake) and I wish I could be there to cheer them on! They look like quite an interesting team. If they win promotion I would be ecstatic, but I realize there is still a long way to go until May!

Faryd Mondragon! His name has come up a lot lately in Colombia! It seems he is wanted by MY favourite Colombian club, Atletico Junior. I guess we will wait and see what happens there! Interesting...

Thanks for posting your match report and these pics! It was VERY interesting for me....!♥

OMG, I noticed those! I think I even saved them but haven't had the time to check them out properly so far. (As you know, I fail at LJ.) It makes me so happy that you care about my little hometown club! :D They've become a fantastic team and are doing really well (I watched them play again on Sunday and was totally ecstatic!) - even though I think they should wait a year or two until getting promoted. ;)

Oooh! That sounds interesting! Though Cologne would be stupid to let him go, really.

You're most welcome! I was thinking of you when I watched the match at the stadium, dead sure you'd have enjoyed it too, even though it was freezingly cold. Next time you're here, you MUST attend a football match! :)

Oh, it was! The game was mostly living off suspense because FCA were leading 1-0 for a very long time and one goal from Cologne would have made them start afresh, but even though I usually don't like situations like this, I wasn't that afraid on Wednesday because Cologne didn't look likely to score. The same happened yesterday - Düsseldorf were playing well, a lot better than Cologne did in the Cup, but somehow I knew they wouldn't score. It's priceless to have a defense that's like a wall. :)
