Last week, AS reported that Santi Cazorla will be out for five weeks with a hamstring injury. The player stopped training on Wednesday evening because of a puncture in the area and submitted to various radiological tests which eventually confirmed the muscle injury. This is the second medium-term injury for him this season; he has already been out

GAH. I really don't know what we did to deserve this. I so hope that the 6-7 weeks is just a rough estimate and he'll be back sooner! *keeps fingers crossed*

God, I feel so bad for Villareal. And especially now that some time has passed and they have now gone out of European competition and no chance for next year atm. :( Only 18 players! What a shame!
I feel horrible for Santi. Here is a guy who has stuck with his team instead of going off to Real Madrid like every other player who seeks glory. (I am sorry, but certain new players for RM have almost ruined my love for the team atm. I tried to accept and like them, but alas, I can't do it!!!!) :(
I hope that Santi will get healthy and get back onto the pitch soon! They need him. I am also sorry that Pires is getting older. Getting old sucks. He was and still is a great player, but he won't last forever! I am happy to see that Marcos Senna has been playing recently, though, for club and country. That should be a boost to Villareal.

I'm so gutted that both Villarreal and Athletic are now out of the Europa League. Of course, Athletic still have a chance of qualifying, but I don't have much hope for Villarreal, and it's particularly sad because they were Champions League regulars the last few seasons! :(
I'm so sorry for Santi. He's giving so much for the club, and it's obvious how much the team is missing him.
(Just because I'm curious, who are these new RM players? Because I have my problems with some of them, myself. Not that this makes me love the club any less, but it's annoying.)
Pirès is still good, but if the entire team is playing badly, he can't shine either. Marcos Senna was horrible against Real, for instance, and he's usually a good player too. I'm glad they won last weekend, though, and I hope that they're on their way up now.

OK, I don't have anything against the following guys personally, but I don't think they are particularly suited to Real Madrid: Kaka, CR9, Benzema and Lass Diarra. (Okay, I know Lass came before Perez.) I think Lass stands out like a sore thumb because his 'style' does not suit the way RM plays! I liked the other Diarra better!
Kaka and CR9 are BIG stars and I hate the 'Galactico' thing. I like teams who play like teams! (Although RM is getting better at that now.) I really liked the Dutch guys and was glad to see Rafa Van der Vaart do so well in yesterday's game. I think that the Liverpool guys are great...they knew about teamwork from the start. And no problem with Garay and Albiol in defense. They are two of the best.
