Apr 11, 2009 20:23

Last night, I returned from my holiday of 13 days which I spent in Amsterdam and Liverpool, and OMG, what a holiday that was. I still can't quite believe that some of the events actually happened. :D Even now, I'm still high on adrenaline and excitement, because it was so awesome. I'm in no state to write a coherent report, so it'll just be a list ( Read more... )

Everything looks amazing and you got to satisfy your passion for the Age of Sail (at least for a while) :P

Posters of Iker? I'm in love with that girl XD! I love that photo of him, it's one of my favorites from advertisements. Her place is indeed pretty awesome.

Thank you! :D I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the Amsterdam from the train. I'm very grateful that lhuneldaiel agreed to take me there. :)

Yes! And such a hilarious poster too! :D I hadn't even seen the advert before, so I was all the more amused. :D She allowed me to take a different version of this poster (with more text on it) home so I can put it up in my flat. :)

Holy crap, Bill, but this post is amazing!
First of all, 'Hotel Lhun' is positively incredibly cozy-looking and quite awesome, as you put it! I LOVE her wood floors and her modern furniture, and how clean the place looks, in all possible ways! Your room looks as if it was very comfy and fabulous indeed! The poster of Iker is amazing! LOLOLOL. He should plug his ears indeed! LMAO.
The library and restaurant look wonderful. What a view!!!
I LOVE all the bicycles in Amsterdam!
The sex shops sound amazing and I adore that last pic of the "Danny" sign!
I HOPE Lhun takes us to the same places you went to!
How amazing and stunning the architecture looks and everything is so pretty!

I cannot wait for the Liverpool post!!!!
4 hours it took to post this??? OMG how exhausting! But from your flist's POV it was sooooo worth it!!!!♥

OMG, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hotel Lhun was awesome. I felt so at home, it was almost scary! Usually I'm all shy when visiting someone, fearing I might do something wrong and be the worst guest ever, but that worry quickly vanished when I was at Lhun's. :)

Yes, Iker should indeed plug his ears to stay sane. ;)

Lhun should definitely take you to the same places she took me! Especially the library restaurant, you have such an awesome view from there! :)

Ah, it's a relief to know that the time I put into this was worth it! :D

The ship is amazing I visited it in November and had lots of fun and NEMO is great too. I love science museums for kids!!

Lhun's food looks yummy!! Although I'm still trying to find the omelette between those tapas let me tell you :P.

I'm glad you had so much fun and I can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

LOL! He better shouldn't listen for the sake of his sanity! XDDD

We weren't at NEMO, but maybe we'll go there when I visit Amsterdam again! I didn't know it was a museum for kids - I love those! :)

The omelette? You mean the tortilla? That's on the plate next to the sausages. Lhun used a big pan, so we had to cut the tortilla, and then it broke a bit. But it was incredibly yummy! :)

Thank you! Hope you'll enjoy the other pics as well! :)

It is. I love science museums for kids. I love playing with everything

*laughs* Omeletter, tortilla, call it whatever you want :P. I had supposed it had broken a bit but for what I saw it looked like patatas con allioli. xD

I loved your pictures. All of them :D
