Awwww....what a tears-inducing article. Truly sad. He'll be missed at Liverpool and I'm sure he'll miss them too. The only thing I hope for him is that he finds it isn't so bad playing in Spain. :)

I hope so, too. Considering what you told me, I guess he's lucky to have found a club like Espanyol, he could have done much worse. I wish him all the best - but that doesn't mean I won't miss him.

Although I don't really know what's going on but from what I've read from a few journals it seems that Finnan is forced to leave? =\ This is so not cool. If it ever happens to one of Bayern players I would be really really really pissed. :(

He was sort of forced to leave so we could afford some new players. And whereas I do understand the reason and agree with it, I don't understand why it had to be Finnan. I'm okay with Kewell leaving. I can sort of understand why Crouch and Riise left. (They were not forced to leave, though, they left on their own account, and that's okay.) But I do NOT get why Finns had to leave. We should have kept him instead of buying Philipp Degen.
