I totally agree! Silva was fantastic, he definitely deserves recognition, but I think Carles Puyol also deserves some recognition for all the balls he cleared! It was a great game, despite scoresless I was on the edge of my seat ever minute of it! Viva Espana!!! *points to your wonderful icon I'm using*

I am so thankful that the Italian luck just wasn't there last night. Had they played brilliantly and won, then fine, but they were up to their old tricks.

Silva was fantastic, as were Senna and Puyol. And wee Cesc being so damn brave &hearts

Died a thousand times as well, but it was worth it.

Very lovely report!

It couldn't have been more unfair for them to win the game.

Word! And that was exactly the reason why I feared they would score a lucky goal in the 119 minute or so. But sometimes there is a footballgod^^

Iker was utterly brilliant. He totally pwnd Buffon. He was spot on through the whole match. Utterly brilliant and completely deserving of man of the match. Fàbregas was brilliant as well. I was very pleased with both of them. I was hoping for them to win, but I was worried about their opponent being Italy as well. Damn Italians! ;)

My Bayern heart did feel a little wary for Toni after the match though. And it also made me wonder if his promise to Miro will carry on until the bundesliga season so we'll have Toni pr0n stache for awhile..

OMFG I almost seriously died of a heart attack. I held a pillow up to my face during the penalty shoot-out and swear my beating heart was drowning out the announcer ( ... )
