Hi! I'm going to buy a new laptop soon, and am fussing over the decision of whether to get Vista or not. You think it's OK? Do you have the family or professional version? *chews nails over this decision*

I've heard that Vista is good if you don't "mess with it" much, but that people who install a lot of stuff get into trouble - what's your experience been?

Well, mine is a laptop too, and so far I haven't had any problems with Vista. I've got the Home Basic Edition, if I'm not mistaken, and all the programs I've installed (Corel, Ares, Google Earth, and different codecs and the like) work fine. Thank God, I haven't had any problems with anything I installed. :)
