i am a happy bill...
OMG, I just went and bought a computer! *bounces* Complete with Windows XP (Home Edition, yes, but at least I didn't get that stupid Vista), a 500GB portable harddisk and a 20'' TFT monitor! YAY! :D And I think it's a really good computer on top of that, because it's very close to the one we have at work (only with better graphics and more HD space), and I'm over the moon about those at work already. I AM SO EXCITED! :D The price was more than reasonable, too. I did some calculations with a special offer we got for work, replacing some parts and adding money for them, and the "pimped" work computer would have been about 600 quid without additional HD space (I'd have to upgrade from 80GB to 400GB but didn't look up any offers), and the computer I bought was about 680 quid altogether. It was also the last computer of that kind that they had left in the shop.
And stern_suedens made my day even better because she's an awesome person. *snugs like woah* (Just thought I'd shout that out to the world. She deserves it.)
So yeah, I am a happy Bill.
Unfortunately, I am also a very lazy Bill because I didn't manage to write anything about last night's game apart from the line-up. Therefore, my post will be delayed, as will tonight's. I probably won't plug in my new computer before Thursday because I have drama group rehearsals tomorrow and there's footie again afterwards, so I'll have NO time at all. The same applies to the comments and birthday presents I owe you people. Please be patient with me.
