I have no clue how they do it. They play on seemingly equal terms with their opponents for a long while, and then, out of nowhere, they suddenly score goals.
*giggles* That's exactly what I like, I need a little excitement in a match. Ah, well, not everyone can score as well-planned as Jogi's team, right? ;)

Honestly, the best part of the game were the post-match interviews with Tomáš Ujfaluši and Fernando Meira. I love their accents when they speak German.
Awwwww! But yeah, Fernando's voice kills me every time. (Though speaking Portuguese he sounds even sexier...)
Hm, hm. Will I have to upload you some Fernando press conference high res pics?

The Czech Republic have a lovely team. A very good team. They deserve to make it into the next stage for sure. But they seem to lack what Portugal has - players who can finish. I don't know what it is - perhaps it's a certain level of confidence - but I saw that Milan Baros played a good game - perhaps his best in a long time (I have watched every one of his games with Portsmouth and some of his ones with Lyon), and it was so frustrating that he didn't score.

But oh God I have the mother of a giant picspam to do on that game. I mean, all the prettiness hurt my eyes!!!

On a more serious note, I hope they advance too. They are a quality team. A curious thing - each team seems to be missing a key player except for Portugal. (Maybe there's another one too, but I can't think at the moment.) Could this be the key? For Czech Republic anyway, I can't help but think that Rosicky may have made the difference for them, although it still may not have been enough.
