We are SO lucky... a friend of mine got tickets somehow, a long time ago... and as all the teams he likes are out, and he hates Bayern yes, we must pray for the misguided among us he's selling me his tickets. HOW EXCITING!!! I was so nervous before the game I almost died, which probably explains how I ended up ingesting at least one beer too many.

(BTW - my favourite blonde waiter at the sports bar got an ORIGINAL Demichelis jersey... I just about DIED of envy!)

OK, am sober now and have nothing to add to your game summary - other than that it's brilliantly written! And... even Kicker named Demichelis man of the match - which I think is amazing as (1) they don't particularly like him, and (2) in this match there really were several good candidates for that honour.

Aw, thank you! :D It was a lot of fun to write that because I had so many positive things to say about every player and that's not the case too often! :D I posted an article from the Bayern homepage and that line from the Kicker page at 6_demichelis - it's been ages since Micho was praised that much, and I enjoy every word of it. :D

What a game. I loved watching it, I was barely nervous at all, even if a Wolfsburg player had the ball. Especially in the second half.

MICHO TOTALLY PWNED EVERYBODY! Except Franck maybe, but you cannot pwn the Franck, so that's okay. Really, I think my next jersey will be a number 6 :)

I just wish I got tickets for Berlin - I totally envy stern_suedens! Don't you want to try your luck and order some? XD

That's exactly how it was for me! I wasn't nervous before the game, and Bayern immediately created a dominance, so I had no reason to be nervous then, either. And yet, even though Wolfsburg were hopelessly overtaxed, it was a good, exciting match. :)

Haha, yes, Franck is unrivalled. XD But apart from him, Micho really pwned everyone, especially Wolfsburg's forwards and midfielders. :D And I totally approve of you thinking of buying a Micho jersey. He's far too underrepresented in the stadium despite his amazing season. :)

The final is on April 19th, right? If you really want to come with me, it's definitely worth a thought! Let me check if I'm free on that day - I'll get back to you. :)

I read somewhere that you can apply for tickets on the BVB homepage - they accept applications even from non-members. But I suppose we're too late for that, as well. *big sigh* It's a shame. I would have loved to go.
