You're already on my default list! I'm glad I can FINALLY return the favour of all the postcards you've sent me so far, you know! :D *squishes* Will take a little while until it's uploaded, but I won't forget you. :)
I'd love to go too : ) Lol at all the Micho and Mark talking with Barca players instead of warming up. I don't mind losing cause it's all about having fun and Scholl. Anyway thanks for sharing these, I bet it was a really lovely atmosphere there.
To be honest I never watched Scholl play, but I can totally feel the love in the air yesterday. It's really a biggest honor to play against a big club like Barcelona in your farewell match and have the crowd cheering loudly for you.
Scholli was my teenage idol, so to speak. My first jersey had his name and number on the back. Unfortunately, my mom sold it. I regret not having pestered her to let me keep it back then, about ten years ago. :) I've grown up with him, so the match was special for me and I'm so glad I went. Scholli has won 21 titles with Bayern during the 15 years he's been with us, and that says something about his quality, so all the cheering was absolutely deserved. :)
I'm so happy for you that you got the chance to experience Scholli's "Ehrenrunde" live. I'm already missing him. But then again, I think I've been missing him for ages, so...
Although you said your photos weren't that good because of the zoom blabla I think they're great. Plus I love your pictures of the warm-up - you know I do love seeing the players warming up. ;D
If the little fangirl in me is allowed to say two things... I want to have Hamit's babies as well. It's getting clearer to me every week. And, Andi... Oh my... Teh fucking pretteh..
Did you re-watch the match already? They did show Micho quite often, sí? Nice arse, by the way. *snickers*
Thanks for sharing the pictures and your fab experience with us.
I felt so honoured, really. The atmosphere was amazing! I'm glad you liked the pictures despite everything! :) You know, I always get jealous when people post wonderful high-res photos in which you can actually recognize the players' faces. With my photos, you'll have to take a wild guess... ;) I wish I could have filmed the warming-up. Some players really exaggerated their hip exercises... *snickers*
Absolutely allowed. :D You don't need to ask, darling. :)
I haven't re-watched the match yet, I've just watched the highlights on fcb.tv, but it's pretty much what I saw at the stadium. There weren't any controversial referee decisions or doubtful scenes, anyway. But if you say there is a lot of Micho, I definitely must watch the match as soon as possible! *is excited* :D What are you doing to me? *sigh*
Well, the guess is not that wild. At least not for me. ;D
Please do not talk about players exaggerating their hip exercises - Adrián, Gago, Pepe, Saviola, Granero etc., they all exaggerated as well. I wish someone would've just thrown some "Hula-Hoop-Reifen" onto the pitch. XDXD
There definitely was a lot of Micho, especially compared to the usual amount of Micho. The hair fumbling with his hair --- that's a fucking Argentinian thing, eh? Messi did it all the time, too (and let's not even start with Gago here ;D). *rolls eyes* Me?? Nothing... *is all innocent*
Adrián, Gago, Pepe, Saviola, Granero etc., they all exaggerated as well. ADFSDFFKDGJDFDSLF. I'm so glad I didn't see that. I suppose I'd have drooled on the spot. Saviola keeps making me feel like a pedo, btw. I'm not amused about that.
I wish someone would've just thrown some "Hula-Hoop-Reifen" onto the pitch. XDXD OMG! Yes! I was SO thinking about those when Liverpool's players did their warming up in Grenchen! XDDDD
I suppose the hair fumbling is an Argentinean thing - at least when you're wearing a hairband. Van Buyten, Toni and Kobiashvili, for instance, fumble with their hair during interviews, but that's because strands keep falling into their faces, and that's totally understandable. ;)
I have something for you. It's not much, but maybe it helps? *points to your e-mail inbox* I can't offer more, because I don't have much time at the moment, but next week, when I've returned from my holidays in Hamburg, I'll see what I can do. :)
I bet Poldi was like a kid in a candy store with his team and the Barca boys on the same field.. XDDD I'm sure he was! If I remember correctly, he stood in front of the player tunnel for a while and just stared at the Barcelona players... ;)
I saw the match and I am so incredibly happy I did. The farewell was so emotional, even me not being a Bayern fan, I had tears in my eyes pretty much anytime Scholli's name was even mentioned. God, he looked so happy all the time and during the Ehrenrunde, they zoomed away from the match and showed him
( ... )
during the Ehrenrunde, they zoomed away from the match and showed him. Hehe, yes, I figured they'd do that. I mean, nobody in the stadium actually cared what was going on on the pitch directly after Scholli was substituted. ;) All eyes were on him. The atmosphere was really amazing. :)
Ronaldinho was just *meh* Prick.
I have to think about my god-mother telling me she danced with Mehmet Scholl when Bayern was in Hamburg about hundred years ago. :P OMGREALLY???? O_O Awesome!! XDDDDDDD
Yeah, Mark used to play for Barcelona. I guess that's why he wasn't really that good that day. ;) He just didn't want to hurt his former teammates' feelings. XD
I loved the #7 off, #7 on. It's probably one of those great one-time moments in football. :D OH YES! That was a truly special moment. I doubt substitutions like that are allowed in proper matches

I agree! If Scholli is happy, I'm happy, too. And he seemed pretty happy. :)
