Yeah, that's exactly what I thought when I read the article about Schweini who apparently seeks the company of people from Munich's high society whereas Poldi rather wants to stay out of it all. It's kind of sad, because they really were inseparable during the World Cup, but I guess it's something that couldn't be avoided.

I didn't really want to specify what kind of look Schweini gave Poldi after the kiss and what his reasons were. He's not approving of what he sees, but there can be many explanations for this, as you said.

Thanks for your kind comment - and the beta work, of course! I really appreciate this! And it would be great if you could maybe write something about them, too, since you've obviously given the topic a lot of thought! Would be interesting to see what you come up with! :)

I'd actually meant to ask you about that article, but totally forgot to. It is sad though, that they're both so different, yet have the possibility to be so close. Makes you wonder if they really did, in reality, have skewed perceptions of what things would be like with Lukas there. Because at the beginning they seemed to be a lot more interactive and closer than they've appeared lately. It kind of breaks my heart a little. :(

I'm definitely going to have some closeness between them in my au fic, but I think I might write them something in the footie world too. We shall see. :D

Yeah, that's what I thought - and actually the main reason for that bunny. I mean, they both must have expected a few things from the transfer because it concerns them both. However, when they were still playing for different clubs, their private lives weren't too important for each other because they weren't a part of it, anyway. Now they're living in the same city and it was just a matter of time before they found out that their views of spending an evening differ a lot...

It kind of breaks my heart a little. :(
Mine, too! But since they're still best friends (at least Schweini said so recently), I don't think it's the end of Schweinski. :)

Ugh... I mean, I really like the idea and the way you wrote it (very well in my opinion, the first person thing was good, and after I read the article in the Sport Bild I was thinking about that for a long time, too). But the point for me is - and only for me, please don't take that as any kind of flame - that I don't like Christian Lell at all since it's been confirmed that he... you know, hits his girlfriend. If it had been any other player I'd have been fine with that. (Well, perhaps not ANY other player. *g*) Just... Lell, he gives me the creeps. :-P

Other than that, as I already said, I liked the idea and how you wrote this piece very much. What I probably liked best were the last two lines... that gives an interesting twist to it all. ;-) Did you have anything in mind as to what could happen after that?

Well, I for my part don't believe what's written in tabloids - and the kicker, for example, hasn't written anything about it. Lell may or may not have hit his girlfriend, and if he did, we still don't know what kind of a hit it was and why he did it. I think that - even though the players are public persons - their private lives should be accepted as such. But of course, I don't take this as a flame. :) It's your opinion and I appreciate it

Thank you! I'm glad you liked this! I actually didn't see the scene during the match because apparently, the camera was once again away from all the important action, but I saw it in an icon a few days later and thought that it was definitely interesting. When someone then sent me the big version of the pic, it inspired me so much (together with the article in the SportBild), that the bunny knocked on my door and was acting quite persistent despite all my refusals. It's really so bloody cute! :)

I don't know if it's the end of Schweinski - after all, Poldi and Schweini are still best friends when it comes to football. But Schweini said himself in an interview recently that outside football, he has other friends to hang out with... Well, I don't know. If I get another Schweinski bunny, I certainly won't chase it away. :)

I don't have a picture or a video of that scene, alas... Maybe someone else can help you here?
